Bought a book from him. The book gives an overview how to manage and
share life with a person having schizophrenic illness.
Raymond Fernando, keep it up |

For Speaker : Raymond Fernando:
Raymond Fernando presentation on how to write a book in terms of preparing,
organising, starting and concluding was very enlightening. The way
he wrote his book to capture the attention of the reader was very
good. How I wish I can also write like him. |

For Speaker : Raymond Fernando:
I have read Raymond's book, which I bought after the talk and found
it very inspiring and was touched by his immaculate love for his wife,
Doris. He has showed me that life isn't all material gain. Sometimes,
we have to go through a lot of crisis in life. Life is like a roller
coaster...many ups and downs. Thank you Raymond for sharing your life
journey with us.

Raymond Fernando has given me some very specific insights to how to
write a book. I have already started to pen out some of the useful
tips given by him!

Danny & his EXCO have done a great job organizing such useful
events, which will inspire people to "reach for the stars"
and chart new directions in life. I enjoy the talks, as well as the
fellowship. |

I
find Raymonds talk both inspiring and interesting. I bought
his book "Loving a Schizophrenic". It is very well written,
my wife has read it. She finds it so nice that she decided to read
it over again. I must say it is hard to find another person like
you, Raymond.

The
topic was relatively new to me. I find it interesting and most useful.
I have heard of the condition before, but the talk and the book
provided much more information and awareness on this subject. Thank
you once again, Raymond for an insightful presentation.

| It was
with great pleasure that Raymond Anthony Fernando; a very passionate
advocate of removing the stigma of mental illness, gave a talk at
YMCA of Singapore to many volunteers and the public. He was willing
to share his 32 years experiences and his love for his wife,
Doris. I enjoyed the talk; and coming from a first person standpoint;
he made mental illness personal to all of us. He wasnt just
a caregiver to his wife who has Schizophrenia; but a loving husband
who loves his wife no matter what happens. That was love spoken through
the heart; and it warmed all who were listening greatly.
I have
learnt that it takes just one person to change a world. And he has
changed my world.
